Therapy - What to expect

Duration and frequency of sessions: Sessions last for 50 minutes, and will usually be at the same time and same day each week. Weekly therapy is recommended as it offers relational consistency with an opportunity to integrate the work between sessions. It is important that you find a therapist you feel comfortable working with, and consider your ability to commit to regular attendance and engagement in the therapeutic relationship.

Investment: My standard fee is £60 for a 50 minute session. This will be reviewed annually. When you enter counselling you are giving yourself something of value: this investment is a statement about your importance to yourself, as well as being my source of professional income.

My relationship with my clients is a very important part of the healing relationship. I aim to make every client feel safe, respected and valued, with a commitment to confidentiality and appreciation of your autonomy.

I currently have daytime availability for new clients, either in person or online (March 2026).
